We keep only what the hotel needs to work and to keep players safe. We never sell your data and there are no ads or trackers.
What we store
- Your account: ZD31B name, email address, birthday (to check you are 13 or older), your avatar look and your password (stored only as a secure hash - nobody can read it).
- Your email is used to reset your password and, rarely, to tell you about a hotel outage. It is never shown to other players.
- Game activity: your rooms, furni, coins, friends, and chat and room logs. Staff use the logs to handle reports and keep the hotel safe. Room chat, room names and mottos are also checked automatically for rule-breaking, and moderators review anything flagged.
- Internet address (IP): used to stop attacks and repeated sign-ups, and to check daily votes with FindRetros when you claim a vote reward.
- Messages you send us through the support or idea forms.
Cookies
- One cookie keeps you logged in. The game remembers a few settings in your browser. Nothing is used for advertising.
Who else is involved
- The website runs through Cloudflare (for security), emails are sent through Gmail, and avatar pictures are drawn by Habbo's public image service, so your browser contacts those services.
Who can see your data
- Only hotel staff, and only what their role needs. Every staff action is logged.
Your choices
- Change your password and motto on My profile.
- Want a copy of your data, or your account deleted? Ask through Contact support and we will do it.
